Jaipur: A pilot social audit of govt schools in Rajasthan began at Shrimati Kamla Devi Budhiya Govt Higher Secondary School in Hirapura Wednesday. Students, parents and school management committee members took part in a public hearing to review the implementation of schemes under Samagra Shiksha and identify gaps in delivery.Twenty schools have been selected for the pilot, after which the audit will be expanded to 4,000 schools across the state. Society for Social Audit, Accountability and Transparency (SSAAT) is conducting the exercise. Feedback from the pilot will be used to improve the process before the statewide rollout.
