New Delhi: A man threw a slipper at Independent MP Pappu Yadav during a press conference at his house on Sunday after he defended his controversial skit at Parliament House complex on the alleged theft of donations at the Ram temple, leading to a scuffle between his supporters and the attacker. The MP from Bihar’s Purnia was addressing the presser amid a backlash over his protest, with an FIR being filed in Varanasi against him. The MP has alleged that the incident was a “plot to kill” him. “There was a plot to kill me, but I survived,” he said. He also asked what his “crime” is as he only put forward questions related to the Ram Mandir donation row.
