New Delhi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday night appointed outgoing Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah as a member of the Congress Working Committee. His appointment, signaling the party leadership’s keenness to humour him, came just a day ahead of his successor DK Shivakumar taking oath as Karnataka chief minister.
