Kanpur: A grand Shobha Yatra was taken out on the occasion of Ram Navami from Ram Lala Temple in Rawatpur. The religious procession passed through Bartan Wali Gali, Sayed Nagar and Pappu Shah Walit before returning to the temple carrying Ram lala.A major highlight of the yatra was a 15-member team from Pune, Maharashtra, which performed on large traditional drums accompanied by a 50-member group that blew conch shells (shankh) and other traditional instruments.The procession included colourful tableaux. A large number of devotees gathered at the Ram Lala Temple to take part in the yatra. Mayor Pramila Pandey also joined the procession. TNN
