Bengaluru: With traffic snarls expected in the city Wednesday because of the swearing-in ceremony of the new chief minister, some schools have decided to change timings or go online.Delhi Public School-Bangalore South has decided to hold online classes. Principal Anitha Bijesh said the decision was taken after traffic police informed the school that there would be restrictions on the roads. “We did not want students and parents to be inconvenienced by the traffic regulations. At the same time, we did not want classes to be disrupted. So we’ve decided to conduct classes virtually.”In a note, the school informed students’ parents that traffic restrictions would be in place on Kanakapura Road from 7am to 5pm, potentially affecting travel.Meanwhile, Bishop Cotton Boys School has decided to have a half-day, with classes ending at 12.30pm and school buses departing by 12.45pm. The office will also close at 2pm, the school informed parents.
