The bride made a thoughtful and unique choice by incorporating Amazon’s iconic smile logo into her bridal mehendi.

Bride Adds Corporate Touch In Wedding Rituals

The official Inside Amazon account, which regularly shares behind-the-scenes glimpses of life at Amazon and its employees, posted an interesting video from a wedding ceremony.

The clip showed the bride sitting in her gorgeous lehenga, showing off her bridal henna featuring the company’s logo. The video was shared with the quote, “When Amazonians get married.” It also added in the caption, “Love this! Happy Valentine’s Day!” congratulating the couple.

The groom expressed his gratitude to the company for bringing them together. “Always grateful to Amazon, the place where I met my forever,” he wrote in the comments.

On the other hand, the bride also responded to the video, acknowledging the platform for sharing their love story and allowing their special moment to reach a wider audience. “Thank you for featuring us,” she wrote, followed by a red heart emoji.

The Ongoing Trend Of ‘Corporate Shaadis’

The gesture highlights a growing trend of corporate shaadis, where couples who meet at work often end up marrying each other. Workplace romances have grown largely in recent years, especially in large organisations where employees spend significant time collaborating on a project.

According to a recent international study by Ashley Madison, India ranks second when it comes to people admitting to currently being in a workplace romance. The study covered 11 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and the US, with a total sample size of 13,581 adults.

40 per cent of Indian respondents admitted being romantically involved with a coworker, falling right behind Mexico, which took first place with 43 per cent admitting the same.
