Jaipur: The excitement of night polo was witnessed for the first time at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground here on Thursday evening during the September Jaipur Polo Season 2026.Two semi-finals of the RPC Cup tournament (4-goal) were played under floodlights much to the enthusiasm of the Pink City’s polo lovers.The first match was played between Team Rambagh/Mayfair Polo and Team Gohilwad, while the second match was played between Team RPC and Team Jaipur.On the occasion, Padmanabh Singh said, “This is a historic occasion for Jaipur and polo enthusiasts. Jaipur has hosted India’s first-ever night polo matches at the Indian Polo Association level. The Rajasthan Polo Club has now joined the select league of floodlit polo grounds in the world. This initiative will provide busy polo enthusiasts with an opportunity to watch matches in the evening and will also promote Rajasthan’s tourism alongside Jaipur’s rich polo heritage.”

Team Rambagh/Mayfair Polo wins over Team GohilwadIn the first semi-final, Team Rambagh/Mayfair Polo emerged victorious against Team Gohilwad 9-3 to enter the final. Hurr Ali put up an outstanding performance for the winners striking half a dozen goals. Pratap Singh Kanota scored two goals, while Sidhant Singh added one. Anay Shah also represented the team.For Team Gohilwad, Shubham Gupta slammed a couple of goals, while Tarun Bilwal added one. The team also featured Jayvirsinh Gohil and Allan Shaun Michael.

Team Jaipur registers a commanding victory over Team RPCPadmanabh Singh hammered all twelve goals as Team Jaipur crushed Team RPC 12-3.5 in the second semis.For the second encounter in a row, Padmanabh scored all the goals for his team. Vishwaraj Singh Rathore, Akshai Malik and Kuldeep Singh Rathore were the other members of Team Jaipur.For Team RPC, Dino Dhankhar waged a lone battle, hitting all 3 goals. Mayurdhwaj Singh Talabgaon, Ranshay Purohit and Divyamaan Singh Dujod also represented the losing side. Team RPC received a half-goal advantage at the start of the match.The final of the RPC Cup tournament will be played at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground between Team Jaipur and Team Rambagh/Mayfair Polo.In a one-sided encounter, Team Jaipur won against Team RPC 12-3.5 to make its place in the final. His Highness Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh put up a remarkable performance for the winning side, scoring all 12 of Team Jaipur’s goals.
