BANDIPORA, AUGUST 12: The Bandipora Police have intensified security arrangements across the district ahead of the Independence Day celebrations, with enhanced surveillance and checking measures being implemented at key locations.
Additional nakas have been established along important roads, entry and exit points, and other strategically significant locations to ensure foolproof security and maintain law and order.
Police personnel are conducting intensified frisking and checking of vehicles, with registration details, identity documents and other relevant papers of vehicles and drivers being thoroughly verified.
The enhanced security measures are aimed at ensuring the safe and peaceful conduct of Independence Day celebrations across the district. Police have also urged the public to cooperate with security personnel during checks and remain vigilant.
The strengthened security grid will remain in place as part of the district administration and police efforts to ensure a secure environment for the national celebrations.
