Chandigarh: Residents of Sector 45 came together to celebrate Teej with traditional fervour at the community centre Sunday, with women, senior citizens and local families participating enthusiastically in the festivities.Chandigarh MP Manish Tewari, the chief guest, extended greetings on the occasion and said Indian festivals reflect the country’s rich cultural heritage, family values and social harmony. He said such celebrations strengthen community bonds and help pass cherished traditions to younger generations.Presiding over the event, area councillor Gurpreet Singh said Teej is not just a festival but a celebration of India’s vibrant cultural identity.
