The heat starts rising from mid-morning and due to high humidity, venturing out causes discomfort, sources said.During morning hours, the mercury has come down slightly over the past few days. On the weekend, the minimum temperature recorded in Panaji was 2.6 degree celsius below normal at 20.2 degree celsius. The IMD has forecast that maximum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 degree celsius and minimum around 22 degree celsius in the coming days.
