Wardha: Talegaon police seized illegal scented tobacco worth over approximately Rs 9 lakh during regular checking on national highway no. 6. Police said a four-wheeler was intercepted and during the search, a large quantity of scented tobacco of various companies was found inside the vehicle. The police seized the vehicle along with the tobacco stock.A case was registered against two persons from Amravati district under various sections. Both have been taken into custody.Preliminary investigation revealed that expensive vehicles were being used for the illegal transportation of scented tobacco through the national highway.
