Samsung Galaxy S26 series comes with three models yet again
Samsung Galaxy S26 series has been unveiled in the market and once again you get three models in the lineup competing with the iPhone and Pixels of the world. Samsung isn’t trying a lot of new things with the new series but is focused on making the devices functional, and more use to the people who rely on their phones for everything. And unlike Apple, Samsung has given all its attention and upgrades to the Galaxy S26 Ultra model, its premium in the lineup for the buyers.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Price In India
Samsung Galaxy S26 price in India starts from Rs 87,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB model, while for the Galaxy S26+ you have to pay Rs 1,07,999 for the same configuration. The S26 Ultra starting price in India this year is Rs 1,39,999, also for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Specifications
Samsung has kept things simple with the S26 and S26+ models which is why the price hikes are hard to understand. However, the S26 Ultra gets most of the latest bells and whistles and some more. The privacy display obviously gets the headlines, not just because it is new but also due to its real usefulness. Something we won’t mind other brands and even Apple copying.
The S26 and S26+ feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED and 6.7-inch AMOLED displays, respectively, with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate available. These are powered by the Exynos 2600 chipset which is based on the 2nm process and offered with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
Both the phones come with the same triple rear camera system that has a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The front of the phones have a 12MP shooter.
The S26 packs a 4,300mAh battery while the bigger S26+ has a 4,900mAh unit, wherein the S26 gets 25W wired and wireless charging support. The S26+ is offered with 45W wired charging speed.
All About The Ultra
Now, let’s look at what Samsung is offering with the new S26 Ultra model. It still features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. But the new privacy display feature is built into the software and the screen that blocks the viewing of the screen for other people.
The phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite 5 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. You get it with the new One UI 8.5 version which is also based on Android 16 version.
The new Ultra model has a quad camera setup that comes with a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens and another 10MP telephoto lens. The device still packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 60W wired fast and 25W wireless charging.
