Gandhinagar: Russian Federation consul general in Mumbai, Ivan Fetisov, met Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar on Friday and expressed his country’s interest to collaborate in field of shipbuilding, maritime activities and education, an official statement said.Quoting the CM, the govt release stated that Gujarat has been focusing on the port-led development model. He further said that the state already has sizable infrastructure in place for ship recycling and building.Fetisov extended an invitation to the CM to participate in the upcoming business summit in St Petersburg, Russia, while CM Patel invited a Russian delegation to attend the next Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar.
