Chennai: Early-stage global venture capital firm RTP Global announced the elevation of Smita Goel to chief operating officer (COO) of its Asia operations, formalising an expanded role that builds on her existing responsibilities across the firm’s finance and operations in the region. Over the last four years, Smita has been working with the company on complex cross-border matters, including international taxation, fund and entity structuring. She previously worked for over two decades in the tax and regulatory practices at firms such as EY and PwC. “I am excited to take on this expanded role and continue building with the team, bringing greater structure and rigour to how we operate…” said Goel.
