Jaipur: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Monday announced a restructuring of its organisational setup in Rajasthan, creating two new divisions — Kota and Bikaner — alongside the existing Jaipur, Jodhpur and Chittorgarh sambhags. At a press conference, Rajasthan Kshetra Sanghchalak Ramesh Chandra Agrawal said the new divisions were being created to strengthen and expand the Sangh’s organisational network in the state. He said the RSS was continuing to expand in Rajasthan, with activities now being held at around 7,910 locations. Agrawal also said the recently concluded Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha discussed the idea of families having at least three children, citing concerns over falling fertility rates and possible population imbalance, and presented the issue from a “scientific perspective”. However, he said RSS currently has no formal proposal to submit to the govt.
