His latest video has reignited discussions surrounding the controversy while attempting to set the record straight.

Robert Master says his words were misunderstood

Robert now acknowledges in his latest clarification that he used the wrong word and regrets using it. “I didn’t realize it then, but in the video I posted yesterday, I used the word ‘dog.’ That was very wrong to say.” He then made it clear that the remark was never aimed at Preethi or anyone else involved in the discussion. “I did not say that referring to Preethi or anyone else.”Explaining the context further, Robert added, “Four masters have been continuously troubling me. I referred only to them when I used that word. That word belongs only to those four people and not to anyone else.” His clarification has now become the latest talking point among fans following the controversy.

Robert Master earlier defended Prabhu Deva

The issue began after Preethi Sanjeev criticised Prabhu Deva’s Bharatanatyam performance during the centenary celebration of Guru Sri Uduppi Lakshminarayanan. Responding to her comments, Robert strongly defended his mentor and praised Prabhu Deva’s contribution to Indian dance. He described him as someone who inspired an entire generation of choreographers and dancers. But that was until a particular phrase from that video went viral, overshadowing his defence of Prabhu Deva and triggering criticism on social media. In his latest statement, Robert has now tried to clear up the misunderstanding and explain the meaning of his words.

Prabhu Deva continues to stay busy with multiple film projects

Meanwhile, Prabhu Deva continues to be busy with film commitments in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema in multiple avatars as actor and choreographer. He is considered one of the most influential dance icons of India and continues to contribute to the industry with acting, directing and choreography. Many in the film fraternity also lauded his recent Bharatanatyam performance at the centenary celebration of Guru Sri Uduppi Lakshminarayanan, with many artists calling it a heartfelt tribute to his guru and his long journey through the world of dance.
