Srinagar: A man was killed after the vehicle he was driving skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in the Dandote area of Budhal in Rajouri district on Sunday, officials said.
According to officials, the vehicle lost control and rolled down into the gorge, resulting in serious injuries to the driver. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment; however, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.
The deceased was identified as Gagan Deep Singh, a resident of Gota village in Chassana tehsil of Reasi district.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further details are awaited.
