The Union minister alleged that political frustration and disappointment were evident in the CM’s comments. He said Revanth Reddy’s words were crossing limits, while his govt’s performance was failing to match its rhetoric.Addressing a press conference, Kishan Reddy also accused the Congress govt of failing to fulfil promises made to farmers. He alleged that bonus payments promised for paddy procurement had not yet been fully paid and claimed that assurances made to farm labourers and tenant farmers had not been implemented. He further alleged that the farm loan waiver programme was carried out partially.Claiming that the state govt was surviving on loans from the Centre and financial institutions instead of fulfilling its commitments, Kishan Reddy said Telangana’s people were well aware of the performance of various political parties. He said BJP remained committed to development and asserted that he spent his entire political career in the party. “I was born in BJP, and I will die in the party,” he remarked, in an apparent reference to leaders who switched parties during their careers.
