Srinagar, Aug 16: In a significant address to a large gathering at Takhat-e-Sulaiman, Sulaiman Taing Sonwar, Farooq Renzushah, chairman of Kashmir Society International and president of the Aalami Urdu Conference, paid heartfelt tributes to Hazrat Maama Koul e Sahib.

This sacred event drew numerous devotees and was organized by Khanwada Maama Koul Sahib and prominent figures like Rashid Hafiz Sahib and Mohammad Yousuf Qadri Sahib.

The gathering featured a beautiful rendition of Samaa Saadat, showcasing the poetic works of Hazrat Maama Koul e Sahib by esteemed Gulukars, including Bashir Shamas Tail Bali, Manzoor Sahib, and Feroz Sahib.

In his speech, Renzushah announced that within two months, the complete collection of Hazrat Maama Koul e Sahib’s holy works would be presented by the Aalami Urdu Conference Jammu & Kashmir, utilizing a global platform.

He emphasized the importance of both Urdu and Kashmiri as vital mother tongues, sharing his past achievements as elected president of KAS officers Association formed by senior level Bureaucrats of J&K for 11 years.

As KAS officer’s president, he advocated for displaying all official signs in Urdu across Kashmir, Hindi in Jammu & Ladakhi in Ladakh to facilitate public accessibility in civil offices.

He appealed to CM Jk to ensure display of all names of Ministers, Civil Secretariat Officers, Divisional, District offices name display plates Urdu in Kashmir, Hindi in Jammu and Ladakhi in Ladakh.

At least this minor action can be taken for proper communication between present administration, Bureaucracy and people in general which seems disconnected. 

Renzushah further highlighted that Tasawuf, as propagated by various Sufi saints through their poetry, fosters communal, sectoral, and regional unity, emphasizing the principles of Ren, humanity and cultural cohesion.

He noted that Takhat-e-Sulaiman itself stands as a symbol of communal harmony, uniquely positioned alongside holy Shankrachariya. The teachings of Hazrat Maama Koul e Sahib reinforce this message of unity.
