Hyderabad: Telangana Congress working president Jagga Reddy dared the BJP leaders to come for a debate on Congress rule and their contribution to the nation and the 12 years of BJP rule. He said the successive Congress govt in united AP have brought central institutions such as BHEL, BDL, ICRISAT and IIT-H to Hyderabad. But the BJP govt is privatising the public sector undertakings (PSUs) in its rule, he claimed.The Congress leader along with hundreds of Congress workers celebrated leader of the opposition Rahul Gandhi’s birthday in Sangareddy on Friday. They also distributed 350 bicycles to the students.He said there was need to bring Congress back into power at the Centre and make Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister for the sake of the nation. “The BJP leaders are celebrating, claiming they have dismantled Nehru’s legacy, which is not good for the country,” he pointed out.Jagga Reddy said the BJP failed the country over the past 12 years, failing to fulfill promises such as two crore jobs every year, housing for all and depositing ₹15 lakh in every poor family’s account. “The BJP only knows how to cheat people and gain their votes,” the TPCC leader said.
