Ranchi: A resident of Pahari Mandir locality was arrested and household items worth around Rs 5 lakh recovered, police said on Sunday.Arif Ansari (23) alias Suraj was held during the investigation into a theft reported on Oct 9.Officer in-charge of the Sukhdeonagar police station, Sunil Kumar Kushwaha, said, “Shakila Khatoon (52) of Bano Manzil Road near Pahari Mandir, had locked all doors before leaving for her ancestral village in Bihar. When she returned after a month, she found the locks broken and valuables, worth around Rs 5 lakh, missing from the house.”
