Lucknow: Members of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Ksehtra Trust will assemble once again in Ayodhya for another crucial meeting on Wednesday.Before the appointment of the chief executive officer, finalising the terms and conditions, standard operating procedure, renumeration package, entitlements, emoluments, benefits along with roles and responsibilities, will be the key agenda before the eight permanent trustees.Sources said that before making a formal announcement once the suitable candidate is finalised, Ram Temple Trust would also seek the advice of legal luminaries and experts on the entire framework.Governed strictly by the conditions mentioned in the original Trust deed, the board of trustees have been given the authority to appoint staff members to carry out the activities of the Trust.The Trust members will also formalise the appointment of IIT-Bombay alumnus Jagdish Aphale, as the secretary of the Temple Trust along with deliberating on the role of a public relations officer-cum-spokesperson.The meeting is scheduled to take place at Maniram Das Chhavani in the afternoon and is likely to conclude around 6pm.Once discussions over the role of CEO wrap up, the Trust would put up the key findings of the latest audit, have a discussion on evolving a committee for monitoring the internal working and security of the Ram Temple (to avoid repeat of any controversies like donation theft) and streamlining the ‘darshan’ of devotees.The Trust members would be briefed about the findings of the three-member special investigation team constituted by the state govt to probe donation embezzlement.Sources said the three-member SIT emphasised on having increased checks and balances in the overall framework of the day-to-day operations, prompting the Trust members to strengthen the existing mechanism.More than 1,500 contractual workers have been engaged to help manage different operations of the temple.Sources said that final decision on important issue like appointment of new Trust members to fill vacant positions would be taken up only after the apex court gives its final opinion.While the three-member special investigation team appointed by the UP govt has concluded its inquiries, the Supreme Court is still monitoring the donation embezzlement case.
