Prayagraj: MSc Zoology student Shipra Yadav will be awarded the prestigious Chancellor’s medal at the ninth convocation of Prof Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University after emerging as the top performer of the 2025-26 academic session with a CGPA of 9.113, equivalent to 91.13%. The university released the final list of medal winners ahead of the convocation scheduled for July 16.A total of 238 medals will be conferred during the ceremony in recognition of academic excellence. These include one Chancellor’s medal, 71 gold medals, 79 silver medals and 87 bronze medals. The awards will be presented to meritorious students from the university campus as well as its affiliated colleges for securing top positions in undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated programmes.The merit list this year is once again dominated by women. Of the 71 gold medal winners, 49 are women while 22 are men.
