Pune: With the population increasing in the developing areas, Pimpri Chinchwad police have submitted a proposal to the DGP’s office to set up new police stations. The new Pirangut police station would be carved out of Bavdhan police station, Jambe will be carved out of Hinjewadi, Pimple Saudagar from Sangvi, Dehugaon from Dehu Road and Moshi from Bhosari MIDC. The police have also demanded the post of new DCP for the newly carved Zone IV. TNN
