Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrated Dussehra with a traditional family puja ceremony, and later let fans in on the intimate family festivities.

Priyanka shared pictures from the celebrations on social media, accompanied by a heartfelt message invoking the blessings of Goddess Durga. The couple’s daughter, Malti Marie, was also part of the celebrations and caught everyone’s attention as she joined in the prayers with her parents. For the rituals, the little one, won hearts for her adorable pics and her attire for the ceremony. Sharing the photos on her handle, Chopra wrote, “May the strength of Maa Durga, the purity of our prayers and the spirit of Dussehra stay with us all, today and tomorrow and always.”

The pictures show Priyanka and Nick seated in front of a Lord Shiva altar as a priest performs the puja rituals. Priyanka was seen helping Nick and Malti through the ceremony, while the little one took her place between her parents and joined her father as he participated in the rituals.
Malti wins hearts
However, it was Malti’s adorable ‘Jai Mata Di’ scarf that particularly caught the attention of fans. Both she and Nick had fans praising the family’s celebration and Nick’s participation in the traditional ceremony.“Pura Desi bana dia nick ko,” one fan commented. Nick and Priyanka’s reunion comes after the couple spent a few weeks apart, owing to the singer’s tour schedule. Priyanka was seen making a few solo red carpet appearances over the past week, as Nick was busy touring with his brothers – The Jonas Brothers.
