Ranchi: Private schools in the city have begun the admission process for the 2027–28 academic session, with several schools opening registrations and issuing forms as parents begin to explore seats, eligibility criteria and admission schedules well in advance.Oxford Public School has opened registrations for Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Preparatory classes. Admission forms are available at the school office on working days from 9 am to 2 pm and can also be downloaded from the school website. Parents have been asked to submit documents including Aadhaar, municipal birth certificate and APAAR ID or PAN number, wherever applicable.Sarala Birla Public School has opened admissions for Nursery, KG-I, KG-II and Standard I, besides provisional admissions to Standard XI in Science, Commerce and Humanities. Its registration window will remain open from Sept 20 to Nov 15, with applications being accepted online through the school’s admission portal.Kairali School is expected to begin admissions for Pre-KG, LKG and UKG in October. Principal Rajesh Pillai said the admission schedule would be announced shortly.“Admission for Pre-KG, LKG and UKG will begin in October and the dates will be announced soon. For the next academic session, our focus will continue to be on competency-based questions and skill subjects,” Pillai said.At DAV Nirja Sahay School, admissions for Nursery for the 2027–28 session will open from Oct 11. Principal Kiran Yadav said the school was also accepting admissions for the current academic session in classes up to VII, subject to availability of seats.Chiranjeevee Concept School has also begun its admission outreach for the upcoming session. School authorities said enquiries from parents had started increasing as families explored admission options well ahead of the next academic year.Parents said they were starting the process early to compare schools, understand academic offerings and complete paperwork without last-minute pressure. Many are seeking clarity on curriculum, fee structures, facilities, transport and admission timelines before finalising applications.“We have started enquiring about schools now because we want to understand the curriculum, fees and other facilities before applying. Starting the process early also gives us enough time to compare options and complete the formalities,” said Divya Mahato, a parent of a preschool-age child.
