The annual address will be broadcast on Akashvani’s national network and telecast live on Doordarshan channels. The speech will be delivered first in Hindi, followed by English, with regional-language versions aired later on Doordarshan and Akashvani.
The address comes a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech from the Red Fort and as India marks 80 years of Independence.
