Mangaluru: A man who had been absconding after failing to appear before a court in a Pocso case was arrested by Uppinangady police at Nelyady on Thursday.Ramesh, a resident of Kaukradi, was wanted in connection with a case registered in Uppinangady police station under Sections 4 and 6 of the Pocso Act in 2005. After the court issued a warrant, head constable Dayananda and police constable Raviraj arrested Ramesh at Nelyady. The accused was produced before a court and was remanded in judicial custody.
