Lucknow: Some PNG consumers in the city are reporting frequent disruptions in cooking gas supply, including low pressure during peak hours, sudden cuts and billing irregularities, which are affecting daily routines.Residents have also highlighted delays in complaint resolution and slow technical support, adding to inconvenience. Gomti Nagar resident Vikram Tiwari said: “The low gas pressure in the mornings makes it difficult to finish cooking in time. Even after repeated complaints, the issue often remains unresolved. On top of that, my bills have been higher than usual even though my usage has not increased.” Vrindavan Yojana resident Priya Chaturvedi said sudden cuts in supply disrupt her household schedule even as customer care responses are slow. In Vikas Nagar, Rohan Mishra said inconsistent PNG supply affects cooking and overall convenience, especially when multiple burners are used at the same time. He added that as technical staff take hours to respond, households often have to rely on alternative arrangements. Director, commercial, GGL, Rajkishor Behera, said: “As of now, we have not received any complaints regarding PNG pressure issues. However, we often receive feedback from new PNG users who find the gas flow pressure lower compared to an LPG cylinder, which is normal for PNG. The stove burner in PNG operates at 21 millibar.” He added that if residents face any issues, they can register a complaint via the customer care phone number or official email of GGL.
