PDS Limited on Monday informed stock exchanges that a first information report (FIR) has been registered against a former senior employee of its step-down subsidiary, Poeticgem International Limited, over alleged potential irregularities involving misuse of position, breach of confidentiality and suspected financial misconduct involving about ₹20.15 crore.
In a regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, the company said the FIR was registered on April 18, 2026 under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, by Mumbai’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW). The case follows a complaint lodged by PDS with the EOW on January 10, 2026.
The company clarified that the alleged transactions span a period of around four years beginning August 2021 and relate to the operations of Poeticgem International Limited, which has a presence in Hong Kong and a liaison setup in Bangladesh.
PDS said the registration of the FIR does not result in any incremental financial exposure for the company. “There is no fresh or additional financial liability on the company arising out of the said FIR,” it said in the filing.
The former employee was associated with the Bangladesh operations of the step-down subsidiary, the company added, without disclosing further details on the nature of the alleged misconduct, citing the ongoing investigation.
