HYDERABAD: A 35-year-old passenger was deboarded from a flight at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) after accidentally touching the aircraft’s emergency exit handle and triggering an alarm, according to news agency PTI.The incident took place on Thursday as the flight from Hyderabad to Kadapa was preparing for take-off.According to police, the passenger accidentally touched the emergency exit handle while adjusting his seat when the aircraft was stationary. The movement activated the door sensor alarm, following which airline staff deboarded him.The passenger was handed over to police for questioning. During the enquiry, police found that he had unintentionally touched the emergency exit.Police said they took a written statement from the passenger and allowed him to leave.No case was registered in connection with the incident.
