Parliament’s monsoon session is over. But the monsoon session has not ended. After a Parliament session takes place, the government usually requests the President of India to prorogue the session. In other words, it means to officially discontinue the session. But this time, the government has not asked the President to prorogue the monsoon session, 29 days after its proceedings ended on August 13.
