PALGHAR: A group of girls from Dehare Ashram School in Palghar’s Jawhar were forced to walk nearly six kilometres through the darkness after a state transport (ST) bus failed to turn up after school hours Monday.A video of the incident went viral, prompting Palghar collector Dr Indurani Jakad to order an inquiry. She also directed officials to set up a monitoring cell which could prevent such incidents in the future.
