Bathinda: A Pakistani juvenile who had entered Indian territory in an illegal manner was repatriated to Pakistan through the Attari-Wagah border on Tuesday after spending nearly two years at an observation home in Faridkot.The youth was caught in the Hussainiwala sector in Ferozepur district in the mid-2024, and a case was registered against him under the Passport Act. Later, he was kept at an observation home at Faridkot, and was discharged late in 2025 upon completion of the sentence. The case was then referred to the MEA for approval to repatriate the Pakistan national. After getting the approval, the case was referred to the MHA, which ordered the juvenile to be repatriated.Upon getting all the formal orders, Faridkot chief judicial magistrate Gurpreet Kaur released him from the observation home, after which he was handed over Pakistan Rangers.
