The deceased was identified as P Vamshi, 25, son of Balaiah, a labourer.According to police, Vamshi studied up to Intermediate and worked as a painter. On Thursday morning, Balaiah found Vamshi hanging from the ceiling fan rod. “Vamshi had an argument with his mother, Bharathi, on Wednesday evening regarding family matters. Following the argument, he left home at 6pm and returned around 10pm. He ate dinner and slept in his room. At 6am on Thursday, I heard sound from the TV in his room. When I went to check, I found Vamshi hanging,” Balaiah said.Subsequently, the villagers informed the Yellareddypet police about the incident. Police found a suicide note written on an empty enumeration form with Vamshi’s signature in his room. In the note, it was written in Telugu, saying, “Respected police. Do not trouble my family.”A photo of the suicide note was also set up as WhatsApp status on Vamshi’s phone number. “Vamshi threw his phone in the attic in the room. Our team found it after a search on Thursday morning. Vamshi consumed liquor with a friend after an argument with his mother about his alcohol consumption habit. We suspect that he died by suicide due to family problems. Family members are not sure why he wrote such a suicide note on an enumeration form.
