Shimla: An amount of approximately Rs 35.68 crore has been disbursed to around 16,877 orchardists under the Market Intervention Scheme (MIS) during 2026, a spokesperson for the Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation (HPMC) said on Friday.The spokesperson said that the HPMC had disbursed Rs 17.53 crore in cash and provided inputs worth Rs 18.15 crore, including Horticultural Mineral Oil (HMO), TSO, fertilisers, machinery and other materials.In addition, payment claims amounting to Rs 12.13 crore, relating to 7,059 orchardists, are currently being processed, the spokesperson added.
