Chandigarh: Panjab University conducted the entrance examination for admission to its three-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) programme on Sunday, with 2,189 candidates appearing for the test across seven centres in Chandigarh.According to the university, 2,448 candidates had registered for the entrance examination, taking the attendance to 89.4%.The examination was held from 10am to 11.30am. Panjab University controller of examinations Prof Jagat Bhushan said flying squads and observers were deputed at all examination centres to monitor the conduct of the test and ensure adherence to guidelines.Jammers were installed in all centres to block mobile phone signals and other Wi-Fi-enabled communication devices during the examination, he said.The university said the examination concluded peacefully and no untoward incident was reported from any of the seven centres.Meanwhile, the question booklet and the provisional answer key have been uploaded on the university’s examination website. Candidates can access these to verify their responses and raise objections, if permitted under the prescribed procedure.The LL.B. entrance examination is conducted annually by Panjab University for admission to its three-year law programme offered by the university.
