Bengaluru: The SSLC exam-2 for academic year 2025–26 will start Monday at 358 centres across the state. According to the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB), a total of 1,15,112 students — 76,673 boys and 38,439 girls — have registered for the exam, which will continue until May 25.According to KSEAB, the registered students are from 5,488 govt schools, 3,250 aided schools, and 5,060 unaided ones. Among the candidates, 11,881 have enrolled to improve their previous scores. Data released by KSEAB shows that 61,205 regular freshers have registered for the exam, while 18,505 are private freshers. A total of 32,833 regular repeaters and 2,569 private repeaters are to sit down for the exam.KSEAB also said that 7,658 students, who were unable to appear for this year’s SSLC exam-1 because of attendance shortage, have registered as private candidates for exam-2.
