Rajkot: The carcass of a one-month-old lion cub was found in a farm at Vadhera village in Jafrabad taluka of Amreli district on Monday, forest department officials said.The carcass was sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Preliminary findings suggest that the cub may have died after getting trapped in the farm’s fencing.According to forest officials, the cub’s neck may have become stuck between the fence wires while it was attempting to enter the farm, possibly resulting in suffocation. Officials are investigating the incident and awaiting the post-mortem report for further details.
