Madhubani: District magistrate Anand Sharma on Wednesday held a video conference with officials of the health, education, Jeevika, ICDS and supply departments and directed them to ensure 100% coverage under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).He asked departments to work in close coordination and launch a special campaign in camp mode to achieve full saturation of Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs. He also stressed the need for extensive awareness drives to encourage enrolment.ASHA workers have been tasked with generating ABHA IDs through door-to-door visits, with each worker required to create at least five IDs daily. Govt hospitals have been directed to complete ABHA KYC for all OPD and IPD patients.The education department will organise special camps in schools and colleges, set up ABHA counters during parent-teacher meetings, and appoint nodal teachers in educational institutions.Jeevika self-help group meetings, VHSND and THR days at anganwadi centres, and all PDS ration shops will serve as ABHA enrolment points. Officials have been asked to submit weekly progress reports.The campaign aims to maximise ABHA ID coverage and facilitate access to digital, integrated and patient-centric healthcare services.
