The BJD and Congress termed it unusual for the CM to leave the state at a time when it is flooded.
On July 30, BJD leader Naveen Patnaik posted on X and accused Odisha BJP leaders of “feasting in Delhi” amid the horrors of floods.
“While the entire state is reeling from flood conditions due to relentless heavy rains, Odisha’s esteemed CM, along with BJP’s top leaders and Members of Parliament, are currently in Delhi. In such untimely circumstances, what could be more serious than the safety of their own people,” he questioned in his post.
