New Delhi: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday searched 9 locations in J&K as part of its continuing investigation in the Delhi Red Fort area bomb blast case. The nine locations searched are spread across the districts of Srinagar, Baramulla, Jammu, Kulgam, Ganderbal and Handwara. Several digital devices were seized during the searches and the same have been sent for forensic analysis, NIA said in a statement.A total 11 accused have been arrested till date for their roles in the deadly blast that rocked the national capital on Nov 10 last year, killing a dozen persons and injuring many others. The prime accused, Umer Un Nabi, was also killed in the lethal explosion. NIA found during investigation that Umer had masterminded the blast conspiracy in coordination with arrested co-accused — including doctors from Kashmir and UP — and others. The agency is continuing with its efforts to unravel the larger conspiracy behind the terror attack and to identify others involved in the plot to spread mayhem and destabilise the country. TNN
