Noida: Noida Authority has launched a new mobile application, “Noida Smart LED Light,” aimed at making the city’s streetlight system more accessible to residents and speeding up the resolution of related complaints.The app has been rolled out by Authority’s electrical department and allows citizens across the Noida region to report streetlight issues — including lights that are switched off, malfunctioning, or facing other lighting problems.RP Singh, general manager, Noida Authority, said the app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.He said all complaints received through the app will be digitally logged and tracked, making the redressal process more organised, transparent, and accountable. The system will also allow citizens to check the status of their complaints after registration.The initiative is expected to bring greater accountability to streetlight maintenance and complaint resolution across the city.Residents can also lodge complaints through an existing toll-free helpline: 18001029574.
