Hyderabad: Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday said his govt is awaiting the technical survey report from IIT Roorkee on the impact of the Sammakka Sarakka project, being taken up by the Telangana govt, on Chhattisgarh.Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect meet, Vishnu Deo Sai said, “We are getting a survey done by IIT Roorkee. Only after the survey report comes can we move forward in the matter,” he said on his meeting with Telangana’s irrigation minister Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday night in Hyderabad.Though Chhattisgarh granted an in-principle approval for the project in late 2025, a formal NOC is awaited as the independent technical survey by IIT Roorkee is underway.
