Control room established for redressal of grievances against black marketing, hoarding in the District.
Budgam, March 25:- The District Administration hereby clarifies that adequate stocks of petrol and diesel are available across all fuel stations in the district. The supply position remains stable and there is no cause for concern.
The general public is advised to refrain from panic buying and avoid unnecessary rush at petrol pumps. Citizens are requested to purchase fuel only as per their routine requirements.
The District Administration has directed all fuel outlets to ensure fair and transparent sale of fuel and to strictly adhere to prescribed norms.
It is further informed that the administration is closely monitoring the situation, and any instance of hoarding, black marketing, overcharging, or unauthorized sale of fuel in loose containers such as bottles or cans shall be dealt with strictly under law.
For the convenience of the general public and to address grievances regarding the supply and distribution of petroleum products, a District Level Control Room has been established in the district.
