Srinagar, Feb 20: The weather in Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain mostly dry till the end of February, with no major rain or snow forecast for the region.

According to the Meterological Centre Srinagar, the skies will be generally clear from February 20-25, followed by partly cloudy conditions on February 26 and 27-28, with a slight chance of light rain or snow at isolated places.

The forecast for the first week of March indicates generally cloudy skies with light rain or snow expected at scattered places, especially in higher reaches from March 1-3. The skies are likely to clear up a bit from March 4-7.

In the meantime, farmers are advised to continue with their farm operations as the weather remains stable. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to rise at most places over the next 7 days.
