New Delhi: BJP chief Nitin Nabin on Friday directed the Uttar Pradesh party unit to hold regular booth, Shakti Kendra, mandal, district and state-level organisational meetings every month as part of the party’s preparations for the 2027 assembly elections.

Addressing party office-bearers of BJP’s newly constituted UP unit, Nabin said all organisational meetings must be held within the prescribed timelines to ensure a strong grassroots network ahead of the polls.

Expressing confidence that the BJP would return to power in the state for a third consecutive term, he credited the leadership of Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath for transforming Uttar Pradesh through the “double-engine government” and setting new benchmarks in governance.

Nabin also asked all BJP MPs, MLAs, ministers, councillors and district panchayat members to intensify outreach by visiting every village and household to publicise the achievements and welfare schemes of the Centre, the Uttar Pradesh government and the party.

Claiming the SP-Congress alliance had no substantive issues to raise, he alleged the Opposition was resorting to negative politics to divert public attention. He urged party workers to stay focused on expanding BJP’s grassroots connect and taking the government’s development agenda to every voter.
