Mysuru: Mysuru will get an additional flight to Hyderabad from May 1, further improving air connectivity from the city.Mysuru MP Yaduveer Wadiyar said the flight will depart Mysuru Airport at 2.20pm and arrive in Hyderabad at 4pm. With existing services already linking Mysuru to Chennai and Hyderabad, the added flight is expected to ease travel for business and leisure passengers, he said.The BJP MP said more flights to major cities are in the pipeline and that discussions are on with Union ministers to strengthen connectivity. He added that the long-pending land acquisition for airport expansion is nearing completion, after which the Union govt will be approached to fast-track the expansion. On completion, Mysuru is expected to get direct flight connectivity to several major cities across the country, he said.
