Lucknow: Candidates found Physics to be the toughest section in the NEET-UG re-examination held on Sunday, with many saying it was more difficult than the earlier paper. Biology was rated easy but lengthy, while Chemistry drew mixed reactions.Aspirants shared their experiences with TOI after appearing for the exam across centres in the city. Several candidates travelled from districts such as Lakhimpur, Amethi, Kanpur, Sitapur, Gonda and Gorakhpur.At National PG College, Ahmed Obais compared the Physics section to JEE. “Physics was easier in the May 3 exam. Today it was extremely tough and I somehow managed to reach my target score through Chemistry,” he said. Sadhna Yadav said she tried to manage Physics with extra time after other sections.Biology was described as scoring but time-consuming. Ashutosh Chauhan, 21, said it was easy but lengthier than the previous exam, while Sanya, 18, said Botany and Zoology were the easiest parts.Chemistry saw mixed responses. Ankit said it was very tough for him, while Shivam from Kushinagar described it as moderate but called Physics “extremely tough.”Several aspirants said the paper was more time-consuming than the earlier attempt. Rahul Tiwari said better time management was required, while Manish Prasad, 20, focused on completing the paper. At DAV Degree College, Nawaz Ahmed, 22, and Preeti Singh, 21, said the paper was lengthy and confusing.At KanyaKubj Degree College, or KKC, candidates expressed mixed views. Shruti Shrivastava said the pressure had reduced and stressed the need for a fair exam, while another aspirant said pressure remained.Sakshi Yadav, a first-time candidate, said the cancellation of the earlier exam was disappointing and urged steps to prevent such incidents.Many said the leak and rescheduling caused anxiety, and restarting preparation after a break was difficult. Pallavi Singh said, “I was chilling after the exams, and it was unbelievable news.
