Nagpur: A national conference on ‘Sangh Literature — A Comprehensive Stream of Thought’ and ‘Kavya Dhara — 100 Years of Rashtra Sadhana’ will be held in the city on Saturday as part of programmes marking the centenary year of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).Organised by Sahitya Bharati, an initiative of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, the conference will feature discussions on Sangh literature, interactions among writers and an all-India poets’ meet.The conference will be inaugurated at 10 am at Vanamati auditorium on VIP Road, Dharampeth, by RSS Akhil Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh Swant Ranjan. Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad president Dr Sushil Chandra Trivedi, national organisational secretary Manoj Kumar, national general secretary Dr Pawanputra Badal, national vice-president Dr Dinesh Pratap Singh and joint national general secretary Dr Neelam Rathi will be present.The first session will feature presentations on ‘Partition’ by Prof Suryaprasad Dixit of Uttar Pradesh, ‘Aur Desh Banta Gaya’ by Diwakar Hegde of Karnataka, ‘Seva Aapda’ by Prof Milind Jamatia of Tripura and ‘Panch Parivartan’ by Prof Swanand Gajanan Pund of Maharashtra.The second session will feature an all-India poets’ meet, with participation from international poets Gajendra Solanki and Vineet Chauhan, Kirti Kale, Prof Charu Kalra, Akhil Bharatiya Kavya Sadhana convener Praveen Arya, Pankaj Pandey, Praveen Deshmukh and Anant Sapre of Mumbai/Kalyan, and Nagpur-based poets Dayashankar Tiwari ‘Maun’, Shailesh Chouthaiwale and Ramkrishna Sahasrabuddhe.Organisers said the conference would examine different aspects of Sangh literature through literary discussions, panel sessions, interactions and poetry.Sahitya Bharati Vidarbha president Chandrakant Lakhe, working president Chandrashekhar Bhusari, general secretary Vinay Mahurkar and convener Jagdish Thapliyal appealed to office-bearers, members and literature enthusiasts to attend the programme.
